Cancer and Exercise
Dynamic Strength Training® and its benefits have been recognized at several Southern California hospitals and cancer centers. Ongoing fitness programs are in place at St. Vincent Medical Center's Los Angeles Cancer Institute, Glendale Memorial Hospital Health Center in Glendale, CA and Methodist Hospital in Arcadia, CA. Each cancer exercise program is uniquely funded with a grant, meaning that every one is absolutely free to cancer survivors and their family members. Taking away the financial obstacles has inspired up to 70 people per week to become consistently involved in boosting their fitness levels. Additionally, participants are making new friends while establishing a new support group at the same time.--It becomes clear that they are not alone in their battle for longevity.
